Directions

The main office of the Mercer County Prosecutor is located on the third floor of the Mercer County Criminal Courthouse (at the intersection of South Broad and Market streets).

Parking space is limited in the Capitol Complex region. Some metered street parking is available. Commercial lots are located at Lafayette and New Warren streets, at Broad and Front streets (enter via Front Street), at Canal and Merchant streets (near Federal Building) and at Yard Street (next to Workers' Compensation office).

From N.J. Turnpike:

Take Exit 7A to I-195 West. Approximately 1.5 miles beyond Exit 2, take the left lane that merges onto Route 129 West. From Route 129 West, turn left at the third traffic light onto Hamilton Avenue. From Hamilton Avenue, turn right at next traffic light onto South Broad Street. Take South Broad Street to the second traffic light. Courthouse is at the intersection of South Broad and Market streets.

From Garden State Parkway Southbound:

Take Exit 129 to the N.J. Turnpike South. Follow directions above from N.J. Turnpike.

From Garden State Parkway Northbound:

Take Exit 98 to I-195 West. Follow directions above from N.J. Turnpike.

From Route 1 South:

Take Route 1 South into Trenton. Just north of Trenton, Route 1 splits into two roads. Stay to the left (do not use Route 1 Alternate). From Route 1, take exit marked "Capitol Complex - Last Exit Before Toll." Exit ramp merges into New Warren Street facing the rear of the Hughes Justice Complex. To get to the Courthouse, turn right onto Market Street. Courthouse is one block up on the left at the intersection of South Broad and Market streets.




From Route 29 South:

Go through the tunnel and take the Lamberton Rd./Duck Island exit. Continue past the Marina on the right to the second building on the right, number 1589 (number above the front door). The building is tan and rust in color. Parking is on the right and left side of the building and, if needed, across the street. Parking in front of the building is for police vehicles only. The entrance to the Child Abuse/Sexual Assault Unit is on the left side of the building.

From 195/129:

Take the S. Lamberton Rd./ Duck Island exit at the top of the hill before the tunnel. Stay to the right and follow the sign for Lamberton Rd. Go down to the end of the road and make a right at the stop sign. Go past the Capitol Yacht Club (white fence) on the left to the second building on the left, number 1589, just past the park area and boat ramp. Parking is on the left and right side of the building. The entrance is located at the front of the building.

From N.J. Turnpike:

Exit N.J. Turnpike via Exit 7A to I-195 West (toward Trenton). Continue for 6.2 miles. I-195 ends and Route 29/129 begins. Continue on 29/129 and look for the 29 North/Capitol Complex/Lambertville sign. Get in center lane, proceed .06 miles and the road will split, 29 to the left, 129 to the right. Stay to the left. The Lamberton Road exit will be to the right immediately after the split. Follow directions above from 195/129.

From Interstate 295:

Take I-295 North to Exit 60 (Trenton/Belmar). Get in left lane and follow signs to 29/129 Trenton. Get in center lane and look for the 29 North/Capitol Complex/Lambertville sign. Get in center lane, proceed .06 miles and the road will split, 29 to the left, 129 to the right. Stay to the left. The Lamberton Road exit will be to the right immediately after the split. Follow directions above from 195/129.
